Xfld 0.3 release
Unfortunately I have the flu and so I'm somewhat late with posting old news here... Anyway, Xfld 0.3 is finally available for download. This time it's based on Xubuntu. And as usual it is the perfect LiveCD for nearly every use case. ;-)

The Xfld was what led me to Xfce eventually. It’s good that it’s up to date now to show what Xfce is able to do.

That's great news. I always prefered Xfld before any other live CDs - with Xfce 4.4 I'm sure it's even better than it has been before.

When I first started to boot it, I got an X server error (something like "X server could not be started" and "framebuffer error"). I didn't investigate it in detail yet but if you wish, I can do that.
